Brief Bio
Starting out as The Flying Opticians, JuJu were a Indie Funk Jazz band, described as being "late 70's funky bass, jangly guitar - Claire-Groganesque singer". Active from 1981-82, they had some small measure of success, even being granted a coveted Radio One John Peel Session!
Celia eventually moved to the States, and is now a successful filmmaker, appearing in Indiana Jones & The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull!, but more known for Orange Peel (2007), The Kids Are All Right (2010) and The Last Resort (2009).
Alex went on to form People Connexion, which later became Babyman, and released an EP in 1997 with a more rock/britpop vibe.
